Over the last few years, racial tensions have heightened significantly and reports of police-involved shootings of Black boys and men have sharply increased. It's no wonder that Black mothers are worried for their safety of their sons at every age now. I sat down with Altovise Pelzer and Anissa McCall Wilson to discuss their thoughts, concerns, and coping strategies as they watch their sons navigate this sometimes, harrowing terrain as young Black men.
