None of us knows how long we have here on earth. As parents, we fervently pray that we will have enough time to pour love along with knowledge and wisdom into our children to prepare them to grow up and create fulfilling lives. We hope we get to see a fair amount of this process unfold before we depart this life and our children carry on our legacy. We don't expect to outlive our children, yet that can happen and it is devastating when it does. Today, I speak with a tenacious and devoted mother who knows this pain. Dr. Chere Goode sheds light on her experience of tragically losing her son in an accident and offers coping strategies for parents who are also wrestling with such a loss. She has moved gracefully on her journey to heal her heart, find meaning in this experience, and keep her son's memory alive.Learn more about Dr. Chere Goode's work at www.totalharmonyenterprises.com and the foundation she created in memory of her son at https://jacfoundationinc.com.
